We will have a joint practice after the tournament if there will be enough time.

Boston Shufukai Dojo will have their 10th Anniversary Tournament at the Boston Higashi School Gym. (This even also is the 8th Annual Goyokai Tournament.)  Guest sensei (master instructors) from Japan for this event will be Teruyuki Matsubara sensei, Hanshi 8 Dan; Toshiyuki Matsubara sensei, Kyoshi 7 Dan; Tetsuo Fujino sensei, Kyoshi 7 Dan; and Kiyoshi Toyotomi sensei, Kyoshi 7 Dan.

10/27 (Sat) 6–8pm (doors open at 5:15pm)

Kendo Tournament
10/28 (Sun) 8:30am–6pm (doors open and registration starts at 7am)
Entry fee: $40 per person (pre-registration with payment by 10/14)

Seminar and Keiko with Hayashi-sensei

Boston Kendo Kyokai is very pleased to announce that Hayashi Kunio Sensei, Hachi-dan Hanshi will be visiting Boston Sunday September 9th. He will be conducting a Kendo Seminar/Keiko at the Wang YMCA in Boston from 1:00pm to 4:00pm. Hayashi Sensei is a professor at Chukyo University in Nagoya, Japan and is a director of the All Japan Kendo Federation.

We would appreciate a donation of $15 to cover the cost of the gym rental and a gift for sensei.
